From the Track to Your Door
OZ-ride E-moto started with a simple frustration: we were riding petrol MX bikes across Gippsland and couldn't find a single electric alternative that was worth taking seriously. Everything on the market was either underpowered, overpriced, or built for the wrong market.
So we went looking. We spent two years testing electric dirt bikes from manufacturers across Asia and Europe. Most didn't make the cut. The Rerode R1+ did — proper motocross geometry, Samsung battery cells, 17kW of peak power, and a riding feel that finally matched what we expected from a performance off-road bike.
We set up our workshop on Phillip Island — home of the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix — because there's nowhere better in Australia to be serious about motorcycles. Every R1+ we sell is assembled, inspected, and dialled in here before it leaves our hands.

The Idea
After years of riding petrol MX bikes across Gippsland, we started asking: why isn't there a serious electric dirt bike built for Australian conditions? We went looking for the answer.
Finding the R1+
We tested over a dozen electric off-road bikes from manufacturers across Asia and Europe. The Rerode R1+ stood out — proper motocross geometry, Samsung battery cells, and a power delivery that felt like the real thing.
Phillip Island Workshop
We established our workshop on Phillip Island — home of the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix. It was the only place that made sense. We built out our assembly bay, tooling, and parts inventory.
